Egerton Ladies FC off to a winning start!

Egerton Ladies FC 8 – 2 Heswall Ladies FC

Egerton Ladies started the new campaign with a strong victory against Heswall Ladies FC.

Some of the football Egerton played was breathtaking as they zipped the ball all over the pitch. Tuesday Porritt scored a great brace and opened the scoring with a pile driver from 15 yards out. Katie Race scored a great Hat Trick and then added a forth. A speculative effort from the impressive Charlotte Rowcliffe was too hot to handle for the Heswall Keeper who was overworked the entire game. Captain Bev Wright was pulling the strings and led the midfield brilliantly whilst Rosemary Murfin allowed Wright and Rowcliffe the freedom through her well disciplined performance at holding midfield. The back three of Goldie, Sheedy and Goodier can only get better with Boon and Bracegirdle great outlets out on the wing.

Exciting times ahead for everyone involved with Ladies
Football at Egerton!
